has five distinct regions for Day Trippers to explore.
Each of these areas offer unique and interesting places
to visit. Most
of the major resorts are located in Reno-Tahoe or Las Vegas
Territory. Central and Northern Nevada have wide open spaces,
Ghost Towns, outdoor
recreation activities and wild west adventure. Pick your

Reno
- Tahoe The Sierra Nevada mountains
and Lake Tahoe are main features of this area
of Nevada.The cities of Reno, Sparks, and Carson
City are all found here. Mountain lakes, Historic
Ghost Towns, winter and summer sports activists.

Cowboy
Country This region has vast amounts
of public lands, offering camping, fishing, boating,
hiking, backpacking, horseback riding, mountain
biking, and hunting.

Pony
Express Territory The path through
Pony Express territory take you past miles of
high desert full of sagebrush and scenic mountainous
areas.

Pioneer
Territory The area includes large
portions of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.
Walker Lake State Recreation Area. Old mining
towns and ranches dot the desert landscape.

Las
Vegas Territory Dominated by Las
Vegas and it's smaller cousin Laughlin with their
huge resorts and casinos. A short distance from
these city's there is a region of scenic desert
beauty filled with interesting places to visit
and explore.
