| Liberace Museum
is a fascinating place to visit in Las Vegas. The beautiful
antique pianos, the gorgeous stage outfits, his fabulous jewelry
and cars are all on display. The museum has a "walk of
fame" with highlights of Liberace's career. The museum
is located in two buildings. One houses his many pianos- those
that he played and those "antique" ones that he
collected. There is also a collection of his cars. The other
building houses his costumes, a gift shop , and small coffee
shop. There is a free shuttle which leaves from select Strip
hotels.
The Liberace Museum is open: Tuesday
through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday from Noon to 4 p.m.
closed Mondays. Liberace Foundation and Museum members –
free admission. Children age 10 or under are admitted with
no charge and must be accompanied by an adult. Second Sundays
free to Nevada residents. If you arrive
at the Museum by taxi or bus, show your receipt or transfer
ticket at the register desk to receive $2.00 off the adult
ticket price Liberace was and will always be one of the greatest
entertainers of all time. |
