Fort Churchill State Historic Park - Visitor center displays information and artifacts about the fort's history. Fort Churchill was built in 1961 to provide protection for the settlers.
Gold Point Nevada - A real nevada ghost town. Top off your tank at Beatty so you will have enough gas to get back home. Restored and decaying buildings.
Virginia City Nevada - One of the most famous boomtowns in the old west. Over 2 million visitors per year explore the nation's largest National Historic Landmark. Must see for everyone. Take a trip on Virgina and Truckee Railway.
Tonopah Historic Mining Park - All buildings on the property are open for our visitors to enjoy and feel how it was to be working in a turn of the century mining environment.
Ward Charcoal Ovens - Park contains six beehive-shaped historic charcoal ovens. Charcoal was then used to run the nearby mills. Way out in the middle of the desert. Camping area nearby
Mormon Station State Historic Park - A replica of the original trading post built in 1851 houses a small museum with relics of pioneer days. Nevada's first town.
Old Las Vegas Mormon State Historic Park - The park includes a remnant of the original adobe fort, which serves as a visitor center with interpretive displays.
Eldorado Canyon Mine Tours - It's the oldest, richest and most famous gold mine in Southern Nevada. Mining tours and scenic blue water cove trips on the River
Belmont Courthouse State Historic Park - Built in 1876, the Belmont Courthouse was the seat of Nye County government until 1905. The Courthouse is open to the public.

Nevada State Capitol Building - Constructed of native sandstone, holds the special designation of second oldest capitol building west of the Mississippi River. Carson City Nevada
The Lost City Museum - Visitors can see a replica of a pit dwelling built of branches and adobe as well as replicas of pueblos. Artifacts excavated from Pueblo Grande.
Fourth Ward School Museum - A remarkable setting for those wishing to learn about the glorious past of Virginia City and the Comstock Lode.
Caliente Railroad Depot - This historic mission style depot was once a busy Union Pacific Railroad station. Today mostly freight trains pass by the depot.
The Little Church of the West - Get hitched among one acre of beautiful landscape and directly on the Las Vegas Strip. Replica of an old west church.
Rhyolite Ghost Town - Some of the walls of the 3 story bank building are still standing, as is part of the old jail. The bottle house has recently been restored.
The Virginia and Truckee Railroad Co - The V&T makes a 2-1/2 mile trip between Virginia City and Gold Hill. The train passes thru a tunnel with view of the mining district.
